Job Description
LHH is seeking a motivated and skilled Certified Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic team in Vista, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with certified payroll, preferably within the construction or service industry, and possess a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
· Process payroll for multi-state employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments (heavy data entry).
· Review and verify all certified payroll reports for accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
· Assist with processing payroll changes and tracking information via LCPtracker.
· Support Accounting and HR departments with various tasks as needed, including coordinating with accounting personnel and collaborating with management.
· Maintain organization and accuracy in payroll data entry and reporting, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Certified Payroll (ideally in the construction industry).
· Experience with LCPtracker is preferred.
· Familiarity with Timberline, Prism, and DIR systems is a plus.
· Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with managers, accounting, and HR teams.
· Highly organized, energetic, accurate, and detail-oriented.
· Ability to handle sensitive payroll and HR information with discretion and confidentiality.
